Somehow there seems to be a connecting thread of human spirit, reflecting a vision for what is lost and regained in the complexity of life and the struggle of identity and freedom. I have however recommended the book to several people as it has been quite a bit more accessible. As I was recommending it to a friend for her book club and describing the basic theme...it ocurred to me, the proverbial "lightbulb", epiphany, call it what you will...do we ALL not have a little bit of "Pippa Lee" in each of us? I think you captured the essence of who so many women are today...mysterious yes, but not always how those around us imagine. I love the story and think you did a positively brillliant job in writing it and am sure the film is equally as engaging and on point. I saw about one month ago with other 4 people who thought it was very good... And about Greece... I don't know how they sold the movie to their audiences, but I must say the UK trailer is really really horrible... Bad work!!! Anyway, I have to say again Pippa Lee is one of the film I've loved most this year... I really loved Pippa Lee and I think Robin Wright made a great performance in it.
